About Sarah
Sarah's lifelong relationship with the violin has taught her that music is a tool, language, and experience through which learning, health, and community happen. Sarah has taught, researched, and performed under the direction of inspiring musicians such as Grammy-nominated cellist, Dawn Avery, and violinist and Professor of Music at University of Maryland, Dr. Airi Yoshioka. Sarah has performed rock, Irish fiddle, bluegrass, worship, and classical music in eight different states and earned certifications through Music Together and Northwestern University. Sarah is now a registered Suzuki educator and teaches violin, viola, and cello to children, teens, and adults.
Sarah is a proud Navy spouse and homeschooling mother of four young musicians. When she's not playing or teaching, she's reading, painting, writing stories, or hiking with her dog.
